Honda City CNG launch In india with price

Honda cars have launched the Modified version for its sedan class car Honda City CNG Version.

From today you can also get the sedan version of the Honda city or the option of modifying the previous ones is also available. This CNG version will be available Rs. 50,200 more expensive than the petrol variant.

With the Modified version of the Honda City you will also get 2-years warranty and the installation charges will have to pay in additional to the customers.
As the CNG fuel option is available in the cities Honda has approved CNG kit and will be available with 45 dealers at 28 locations.

Company will also introduce 2 new variants with audio Navigation system in the Honda’s City Range which will be priced at 9.72 and 10.46 respectively.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive release date



Mercedes Benz rolled out its fancy and all new SLS AMG Electric Drive at the Paris Motor Show this September. This makes the SLS AMG the most powerful and environment friendly production electric car of all time. This beast is powered by 4 electric motors; one responsible for each wheel which gives the car a permanent 4 wheel drive. Each of these permanent-magnet synchronous electric motors is around 45 kgs and achieves a maximum individual speed of 13,000 rpm. By the looks of the SLS AMG, it shows similarities to the standard SLS model however the mechanism is completely different. The car can go from naught to 100kph in a sprint time of 3.9 seconds, has a top speed of 250kph which is again electronically limited and can be charged in 3 hours flat with the help of a special charging box and in 20 hours via a regular household charging point. It has a maximum battery range of 250kph. So yeah, you can enjoy your drive at full speed for an hour until it’s time to recharge the battery again.

Honda launches Brio automatic at Rs. 5.74 lakh

"Automatic transmissions are gaining popularity in hatchback segment due to our stop-go traffic.
Our dealer and customers indicated that there is a good potential for automatic in the Brio segment,

So, today have launched the automatic transmission version of its small car Brio,
priced between Rs. 5.74 lakh and Rs. 5.99 lakh price in Delhi

The company also introduced a new variant of the manual transmission version, priced at Rs. 4.26 lakh.



The company said Brio is the first car in its segment to be equipped with a 5-speed automatic transmission.

The Brio automatic transmission version comes with a 4 cylinder 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine.
The company claims that the car gives a mileage of 16.5 km per litre.

Mahindra Bolero: Rs 6.23-7.17 lakh

The Bolero is one of the most rugged SUVs from Mahindra's stable. It is powered by a 2523 cc m2DiCR diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 63 bhp and a maximum torque of 195 Nm.


Range Rover Evoque: Rs 45-58 lakh

The Evoque, which was launched/Released in November last year, comes in one petrol and three diesel variants. All diesel variants are powered by 2,197 cc engines, while the petrol variant comes with a 1,999 cc option.




Luxury: Rs 60 lakh-Rs 1 crore

Porsche Cayenne: Rs 60.69 lakh-Rs 1.28 crore

The Cayenne has been tagged the world's best SUV by one and all. The petrol variant is powered by a 3598 cc, 6-cylinder engine that churns out 300 bhp and 400 Nm of maximum torque. The car can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.5 seconds. The diesel variant is powered by a 2967 cc engine that can generate a maximum power of 240 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 550 Nm at 2,000-2,500 rpm.


Mercedes G55 AMG: Rs 1.34 crore

The G55 AMG is among the most expensive SUVs, and very few can be seen on Indian roads. The 5.5 litre bi-turbo V8 engine delivers a massive 544 bhp and a maximum torque of 760 Nm, among the best in this class.

BMW X6: Rs 76.2-93.4 lakh

The X6 comes in two petrol variants, both powered by 4.4-litre engines that produce a peak power of 400 bhp at 5500-6400 rpm and churn a peak toque of 600 Nm at 1750-4500 rpm. The diesel variant, powered by a 3-litre engine, generates 235 bhp of power and 520 Nm of maximum torque.


Toyota Land Cruiser: Rs 99.27 lakh

The Land Cruiser is powered by a 4.4-litre diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 195 bhp at 3400 rpm and a maximum torque of 650 Nm.


Evade: Rs 8.5 crore

Priced at Rs. 8.5 crore, the Evade is the costliest SUV available in India. The vehicle is powered by a 6.8-litre engine that churns out 400 bhp of power at 2215 Nm of torque.


Renault Duster: Rs 7.19-11.29 lakh

Renault is banking on this SUV to turn around its fortunes in the Indian market. The petrol variant is powered by a 1598 cc engine that produces 100.3 bhp at 5850 rpm and a maximum torque of 145Nm at 3750 rpm. The diesel version is powered by 1461cc engine.

Mid-range: Rs 10-18 lakh

Mahindra Scorpio: Rs 7.79-12.63 lakh

Mahindra's flagship SUV is powered by a 2.2 litre, four-cylinder mHawk diesel engine that churns out 120 bhp of power with 290 Nm of torque.


Tata Safari: Rs 8.28-13.25 lakh

The Safari, one of the oldest SUVs in the Indian market, has a 2.2-litre, 16-valve VTT DICOR engine that churns a power of 140 bhp at 4000rpm.

Executive: Rs 18-30 lakh

Toyota Fortuner: Rs 21.15-22.32 lakh

The Fortuner comes in only one engine variant, a 3-litre diesel that yields out 142 bhp of power with a maximum torque of 343Nm.


Audi Q3: Rs 26.71-32.1 lakh

Audi's baby SUV was launched in India in June this year. The 2-litre TDI Quattro diesel engine can churn out 177 bhp at 4200 rpm along and 380 Nm of maximum torque at 1750-2500 rpm.

Mitsubishi Pajero: Rs 24.43 lakh

The Pajero comes in five variants that are powered by two diesel engine options—a 2.4-litre and a 2.8-litre. The larger engine churns out 108.7 bhp of power at 2000 rpm and 275 Nm of maximum torque.


Premium: Rs 30-60 lakh

Launch/Release of Maruti Alto 800 at Rs. 2.44 lakh






Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, India’s largest passenger car maker, today launched the much-awaited Alto 800 
The petrol variant has been priced at Rs. 2.44 lakh and would go up to Rs. 2.99 lakh, and promises a fuel efficiency of 22.74 kmpl. The CNG variant has been priced at Rs. 3.19 lakh to Rs. 3.56 lakh with a fuel efficiency of 30.46 km/kg.

The price of the existing Alto (petrol) ranges between Rs. 2.49 and 3 lakh, while the CNG variant is priced in the range of Rs. 2.97 to RS 3.48 lakh.

The new Alto's petrol engine can churn out 45.7 bhp of power at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 69 Nm at 3500 rpm. The CNG engine produces peak power of 40 bhp at the rate of 6200 rpm and a maximum torque of 56 Nm at the rate of 3000 rpm.

The new-look Alto is only available in the 800 cc option, while the 1,000 cc option will still be available in the previous avatar.

Speaking at the launch, managing director Shinzo Nakanishi said the company has already received 10,000 bookings for the vehicle.

The car will be available in six colours—Frost Blue, Blazing Red, Silky Silver, Torque Blue, Granite Gray and Superior White. One of the most important additions is an airbag on the driver’s side.

The Alto has been India’s best-selling car for eight straight years, and Maruti will hope to extend its lead over other major players in the small-car segment, mainly Hyundai and Ford.





Launch/Release Of Tata Motors Safari Storme at Rss. 9.95 lakh






India’s largest vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors today launched sports utility vehicle Safari Storme. 

The second-generation Safari, also known as the Tata Merlin, was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi, and costs upwards ofRs. 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The top-end version will set you back by Rs. 13.66 lakh.

The Storme is powered by a 2.2-litre DiCOR engine that produces 140 bhp of power at 4000 rpm and 320 Nm of maximum torque at 1700-2700 rpm.

Launching the vehicle, the company said that while its focus will be on the volumes segment, it will also continue to introduce new products in the fast growing SUV market.

Aspiring to wrest the No. 2 slot in the country's passenger vehicle market, Tata Motors today said it will launch six new products in the next one year.

"In the next one year there will be six new offerings from us. It will be a mix of brand new models and refreshes," Tata Motors managing director Karl Slym said.

Currently the No. 1 position in the passenger vehicle market is occupied by Maruti Suzuki India, followed by Hyundai Motor. There is a see-saw battle between Tata Motors and Mahindra and Mahindra for the third position.

Commenting on the new Safari Storme, Slym said the new product will further enhance the company's strength in the SUV segment.







Launch/ release of Mahindra Rexton at Rs.s 17.67 lakh




Mumbai:  Mahindra and Mahindra today launched sports utility vehicle (SUV) Rexton, the first vehicle from the stable of South Korean firm SsangYong.

The Rexton is priced at Rs 17.67 lakh and is the first vehicle under the SsangYong banner to roll out from Mahindra’s Chakan facility near Pune.

The vehicle was first unveiled at the Busan Motor Show in Korea, and is now on sale in 66 countries.

"The third-generation, high-end Rexton has carved out its own niche in 66 countries around the world, including Europe, Russia and Korea," Pawan Goenka, president, automotive and farm equipment, had said earlier this month.

“The launch of the much acclaimed XUV 500 last year helped Mahindra stamp its presence on the segment of premium SUVs. The Rexton will be the first SUV from the SsangYong portfolio brought to the Indian market by Mahindra. With the launch of the SsangYong Rexton, we hope to further expand the Mahindra presence in the high-end SUV segment,” Pawan Goenka, president, automotive and farm equipment sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra, and chairman, SsangYong Motor, said earlier this month.

The Rexton will compete directly with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, the Ford Endeavour, the Chevrolet Captiva, the Mitsubishi Pajero and the Renault Koleos.
